Fitness doesn't only come from cardio based workouts, you get it from all forms of exercise. If you're trying to elevate fitness levels and conditioning, I recommend doing full body bodyweight circuits from the app, or free-weight based circuits.  It's not just about pounding the running machine for hours on end.
